my story

Hello! I’m Sepi, a multimedia artist and designer living, working, and learning on the stolen ancestral lands of the Coast Salish Peoples, including the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. I’ve been creative for as long as I can remember. As a child, you could usually find me painting, writing poems, or turning any quiet moment into an excuse to make something. That instinct never really left. These days, I’m still guided by that same curiosity and love for making. I’m especially drawn to projects that tell meaningful stories and communicate thoughtful ideas through an artistic lens. For me, design and art are not just about aesthetics, they’re about connecting and inspiring others, and finding thoughtful ways to share a message with the world.

Academic Backgroud

I studied Global Fashion Marketing & Media at Blanche Macdonald Centre, where I developed both traditional and digital marketing skills that strengthened my approach to storytelling and brand communication. More recently, I’ve continued my education at BCIT as a Graphics Communications student, focusing on design and print media. Through this program, I’m expanding my technical knowledge and deepening my graphic design capabilities. I’m especially drawn to the creative process of problem-solving through creative design, hands-on making, and technical troubleshooting.

  • Designed and prepared custom artwork layouts and print-ready files for fine art and framing projects, enhancing visual quality and production efficiency. 

    Coordinated production timelines between sales and printing teams to reduce turnaround times and improve workflow accuracy. 

    Represented the company at major arts events such as the Eastside Culture Crawl and CREATE! Festival, strengthening brand visibility and client relationships. 

  • Directed daily operations across scheduling, inventory, and merchandising to maintain seamless workflow and consistent visual presentation. 

    Implemented new inventory processes to reduce material shortages and support creative output consistency. 

    Collaborated with vendors and visual teams to improve display quality and brand alignment across all retail channels. 

  • Executed and maintained in-store visual displays and promotional signage to align with brand identity and seasonal campaigns. 

    Collaborated with design and marketing teams to translate creative direction into tangible visual merchandising solutions.
